I sympathize with the existential crisis unfolding across the software industry. As an urban planner for nearly 20 years, I’ve spent a career navigating armchair experts, NIMBYs, YIMBYs, realtors, Nextdoor warriors, racists, and HOAs, many misassigning blame and all convinced I’m doing it wrong.
